Why Trade Admin exists
Before Trade Admin, I was a photographer and videographer. The shoots were the part I loved. The nights were another story. Most evenings I was up late, editing one job and writing quotes for the next, with invoices to chase somewhere in between.
I wasn't the only one. Plumbers, cleaners, electricians, designers: anyone who works for clients loses evenings to the same paperwork. And it costs real money. A quote that goes out a day late loses the work. An invoice nobody follows up on quietly becomes a loss.
Eventually I was fed up, so I built the tool I wished I'd had. You talk about the job the way you'd tell a friend, and Trade Admin turns it into a proper quote. One tap makes it an invoice. When someone's late, a polite reminder is ready for you to send. You stay in charge of every word that reaches your client.
I started it in Cape Town in 2026, with rand, VAT and EFT the way people here actually work, and built it to work anywhere small businesses do.
